this friday mikrogalleriet hosts the release party and mini exhibition of our local chip tune heroes la belle indifference.

videomusik will play. la belle indifference will play, and exhibit some of their home built instruments and installations. there will be beer and 8bit coffee.

mikrogalleriet: gormsgade 9: 14/5: 17-21

the book and map from the GET LOST project, covering the exhibit and process in which 8bit klubben was part of during the “49cm” show in mikrogalleriet, is now finally out. 100 physical copies will be sold from the danish architectural centers book store, and a digital version is available online.

this friday jacob sikker remin, founder of 8bit klubben, is opening his exhibition “standing on the shoulders of giants” in gallery machwerket in århus. the exhibit will show the BIGGEST PIXEL EVER, a networked cube of fluorescent light tubes, 2d mobile barcodes and 4bit music. not to be missed. exhibit is running until end of may.

tonight at PROSA århus and in week at PROSA copenhagen, la belle indifference will make a short crash course in making music on the gameboy.

we will focus on LSDJ, but also play around with the gameboy camera, pixel8s live synth and nanoloop. do drop by. it’s free. click PROSA links for details.

8bit klubben has done a one week arduino workshop at the royal danish art academy this week. stop by to today at 15 for a cozy presentation.

this sunday nov. 9th 8bit klubben hosts an 8bit workshop in collaboration with cph:dox. first up showing the chip film reformat the planet, followed by a little LSDJ and circuit bending workshop. teppop, bitmobilen, la belle indifference and vj øbro will join us for the night. please do too.
